Man, I just love rock wool. I forgot how fast they grow in it. The green crack and chem d got nipped and tucked yesterday. The net is up and training has begun. I really don't think they'll need anymore than another week before the flip at this point. I included a picture on how I train in rock...
The little ones are nice and healthy and getting water every day now. I'm setting up their automatic drip system today. The big guys have filled the screen around 60%. They look hungry for nutes at the moment so I'll be triple dosing their 5 gallon top off. I'll throw them into flower next weekend.
In my 3x3x7 tents I just switched from a 600w hps to a 300w go green led light. It is super bright, the ladies love it, and it hardly raises the temp of the tent. I wouldn't buy anything that is a 3070 or 3059 chipset at this point in the LED game. As others have said, if you can afford it -...
Good to have you along Coco. These lights are pretty sweet right? The girls sure do love them. I topped the green crack and chem today and placed them in their final resting places. Ventilation and tent fan are now both turned on.
We have roots! All the clones broke through the bottom of the rock wool this week so they will start being fed now. I'll give them a week or so to get a bit more situated then top them all. The rare dankness g.o.l. are spreading out nicely. This is my first attempt at a scrog and so far I dig...
I totally dig. Those are botanicare trays in there. I notched the corners so they hug the bars and give a little more stability to the tent. Yeah I'm going to rock it the whole grow. I just finished up a few runs with pots on the floor and it was killing my back. At the moment I'm running H&G...
It's been a week since transplanting and the clones look great. Really excited to test these genetics. I was told the green crack finishes in 54 days, which is awesome if the yield is right. Every time I open the tent to check-in I'm taken aback by how bright 150w of Cree3070 is. Compared to...
Howdy RIU,
For this journal I'll be growing 4 green crack and 2 chem dawg under 300w of LED. The panel I'm using is a go green leds cree3070 chip set and I'll be using it in a 40"x40" tent with active intake and exhaust. The grow method of choice is a rock wool drip system. I am a long time HID...
Day 61 - All right all right. This will be the last update before the chop this weekend. It's been a real pleasure to work with these genetics, they are top notch fire. I cut the Gucci OG down last night and it took my wife and I two hours to trim so it should be a decent yield, maybe 4ozs or...
Day 52 Flower
Yesterday I chopped down the Bio Diesel plant to make concentrates from. It was the poorest genetics wise out of the bunch and I needed the room to get my 2 favorite strains blue dream and xj under the light. The bio-d mother will go off to a friend in Boulder who digs the strain...
Day 33 since flip -
Damn I love watching these ladies grow. The smell in the tent is getting stronger and stronger. I've woken up a few times at night and noticed the dank about the house. To help with that I taped all the hoods sides to make sure they weren't pulling out a bit of the skunk...
Right on, right on, right on. Day 29 of 12/12 and things are looking mighty fine. I really like these upside down tomato cages for the sativa dominant XJ plant. With a little training it really helps keep an even canopy with the more indica varieties.
Pink Kush -
XJ-13
Hash Plant -...
Day 24 - The Blue Dream is by far the chunkiest so far. It's got trichs all over the fan leaves so I'm pumped for some good bubble hash. I gave them a very small dose of kool bloom dry last feeding to give them a rev up. They are swelling up nicely. Here are a few close ups of the BD and some...
If you want to make sure you harvest at peak time, I'd suggest grabbing a 60x loupe to check the trichs. They are pretty cheap and it's the best way to make sure you aren't cheating yourself out of weight or quality. People usually harvest when they start to see amber trichs which means the thc...
Okay, day 20 of flower. The ladies are looking lovely since I switched to one medium size feeding a day vs one large feeding every other day. Last night I took off all the lower fan leaves that weren't catching light. Airflow beneath the canopy was drastically improved and they look to be happy...
Day 18 of Flower update. The Gucci OG has made a full recovery from it's early trauma. The bio diesel is the most sensitive to nutes out of the bunch. I'm running them around 1000ppm and it's just a tad yellow from it.
The humidity was getting high with co2 so I have transitioned to a vented...
