Giving more information on your setup would help, i.e.. Size of grow chamber, type of lights, ventilation being used, fan(s) info, etc...

My understanding is that if you go with a smaller pump you won't get a very fine mist and since the pump has to work harder you'll end up overheating your rez water.. So I thought I'd go with a more powerful pump.

Ya, I was originally gonna go with 3 1000w but figured I'd have lots of problems with heat even with good ventilation. Then I thought having 4 600w would be better but I still think that would be a little overkill.

I actually used Ionic Grow and bloom last year in my outdoor dirt grow and I was quite pleased with it's results. I'd just watch out for nute burn, give small doses and build up.

Good thread, I have an aero build going and was beating this question around as well. I have approx. 32 black 360 degree (not spinning) misters going into mine.. The pump will be less then 20" below the 2 x 7'x4" PVC pipes. I was told that 670 GPH would be fine... anyone have something...
