How good do the led's work?

If you're only going to have one or two plants going at a time, you don't need that much coverage. I would suggest you look at a 65 W Hans Panel if you want a quality panel which you can use in different modes. It is about $290 with shipping though and might be out of your price range. If you...

How to get huge, dense, sticky buds using CFLs - ONLY!

Here's a link to the website of the bulb which I'm using...I use the 200W version...http://www.phytolite.com/CFL.html I also have a link to my grow of a Royal Queen Diesel Auto...the previous grow I tried with this light. It ended up yielding about 60g dry which was okay but most of the buds...

How to get huge, dense, sticky buds using CFLs - ONLY!

So, what's your opinion on the CFL AGRO dual bulbs that run 2100K and are good for both growth and bloom? I've used once for two grows and the buds came out so-so...not exactly fluffy but not exactly dense either...

    Dutch Passion LED

After some thought and some long exhaustive (and exhausting) searching, I think I'm going to go with 4 Astir panels at the beginning. I like the fact that they allow me to be really flexible in my setup due to their size and they are not a repackaged chinese factory brand. I looked to the...

Hey andyhot and viracochaDWC....thanks for the insight and all but in my realm, we might say just to be nice "vai a fare un culo" or in English terms vafancul. I appreciate your insight to a bit but spamming your products and hijacking another thread is the epitomy of troll...start your own...

I would throw down the change for an Area 51 if I wasn't a bit skeptical that the CUSTOMS charges wouldn' be astronomical. I know from experience that even if you declare something to be USD 100, they will charge you Euro 50 customs + Euro 15 processing charge (UPS and Fedex make most their...

You've actually pretty much summed up all of my doubts...and that's why I've been wavering between certain middle-men and direct builders...even if some say that the "such and such" is just a rebranded Cidly, etc." My doubts begin to creep up even more cause the people saying this have all the...

I kinda figured all leds were chinese in the end...just some are better quality that others. I've been reading the posts and journals by sailor, guod and psuagro for more info as well...i came to the conclusion though that those guys could probably have a great grow with a candle  ! The...

So, I haven't heard back from vipar yet but I heard back from Astir and the guys are willing to cut me a deal on the base price of the panels (cause I'll need like 6 or 8) so I'm leaning a bit towards them. The shipping is still a bitch (Euro 60), but Greece ain't exactly in the center of...

    Dutch Passion LED

Hadn't yet looked at those two. The Vipar seems reasonably priced but the Budmaster might be a little out of my price range for my light requirement. I'm hoping to make a decision by tomorrow or the money I have set aside for the lights might disappear over the weekend as often happens!

    Dutch Passion LED

I know some people are saying that it's expensive but I am still considering it cause, in the end, it really only costs 220 Euros cause they throw 100 Euros in seeds which I'll eventually need anyway! That's why I'm leaning towards it. Jeremy at GN said the difference between the DP one and...

Thank you PSUAGRO for that great list! I have been doing a bit of searching and have narrowed my choices down to Plantphonics, Bonsai hero and Astir for Europe. My grow size is 90cm x 90cm but I don't use all that space, so the 90Watt by Plantphonics and the 80W by Bonsai seem to be the best...

    Dutch Passion LED

I'm looking to buy a LED set-up to try 'em out. I live in the EU, so, unfortunately, I can't buy LED set-ups stateside because of the shipping and customs prices which make it too expensive. Obviously, I can find some relatively cheap LED modules on Ebay and such, but most of them are only red...

Thanks tec, the vertical is working out nicely...it seems a lot of the lower flowers are getting much more light now. I think I'm just going to feed them with top max and a little bio bloom (maybe 1/4 strength) which is 2-7-4. They have the claw but I've honestly had much worse!

well, thought it might be a little update time...how a week's time makes a difference! We're at about 54 days now. The girls are filling out nicely  and have stopped growing vertically. Here's a photo of them side by side (both are about 2 3/4 ft high, though one's in a shallower and...

    Royal queen northern lights auto

They seems to be progressing nicely! I have always given 1/4 to 1/2 strength at most to my autos throughout the entire grow. However, I only give them ferts when they require watering, which seems to coincide with every week to 10 days. Just a question, though, is the yellowing only on the...
