What size box would be the best for light distribution and plant space, a grow box which was square like a 4' x 4' space or more of a rectangular box like 6' x 3'??? Or does it not matter???

there is actually 2 closets in each of the corners of the room. both of them are 3' x 3' and 8' high. I dont think that my 600 watt would benefit from this space. So i was leaning towards building a box using the corner of the room to give more space. What size box would be the best for light...
