I disagree. I'd be more pissed if I was a neighbor of one of the folks who were exposed on the map. Criminals and thieves will be avoiding the homes on the list and robbing the neighbors that are more than likely NOT to be armed. I would insist on being put on that list. But, I would have been on it anyways.

Realistically, how many gun owners DONT have concealed carry permits? the map isnt much help. it only would show places that are guaranteed to have guns. If you were a criminal, it will only provide a list of places 100% not to fuck with. the rest of the houses are still a crapshoot.

Im totally against the papers publication of the list. It shows a complete disregard to the overall safety of the people. Hmmn, maybe willful negligence?

not CCW permits. permits to own a handgun. you cannot own a handgun in new york state without a permit.

thats why theres so few pistols in new york.

I disagree with what you disagree with. The Sandy Hook shooter didn't own the gun he used. Now the next shooter who doesn't have a mother to steal guns from has a list with a guaranteed potential source.

Thats probably why there is low crime and murder in new york city, that and the stop and frisks, We should all move to New York the magical land where police and restricting the right to defend yourself keep people safe. Reminds me of Opposite world or backwards man.

I understand your position. However, if they're gonna break into one of those homes to obtain a weapon, we may have just found our preemptive method to dispose of these motherfuckers.

If I could carry a handgun wherever I go, I'd not be that worried. But the nanny state doesn't allow me to carry in gun free zones, even with CCW, in: a school, Social Security Office or in a court house, etc.

Just another reason not to register. When they make criminals of us all, only the criminals will have the guns.

aaah, i see. I didnt know you need a permit to own a gun. thats just fucked. i cant see me getting permission to own a firearm. i will if i choose to.... I sold my guns in a yard sale,, ya, ya... thats it.. no guns here....

I have a handfull of 22 rifles(some with 25rd clips), several shotguns, including a high capacity semi-automatic (Saiga) model with a 20rd drum clip filled with 000 buck and a few 1 ounce slugs, several pistols and a whole gaggle of air rifles.

There has never been a single reason I would seek to obtain or even care for that matter, a permit to do a damn thing with any of them. When I travel up to the lake house, me and the wife are always packing and will always do so.

We have been pulled over (lead footed me) and when the officer asked if we had any weapons, we both answered yes and he asked us if they were loaded, and once again we replied yes, the clips are full but there is not one in the chamber(safety). I asked him if he wanted to see them as we do not have a ccl and his responce was no, just keep it at the posted speed limit and have a nice day after I received my ticket.
I am sure if he wanted to be a dick, he was in more than a good place to do it. We answered him respectfully and was treated with equal respect (except I got the speeding ticket).

Permits are for them, not for us. I see no benefit from owning a ccl, none at all.
