i am canadian. As a friend and neighbour I feel sorry for your loss. we as Canadian's have lost 66 of our friends and countrymen in Afganistan. Including a young neighbour of mine trooper Darryl Caswell. support the men, not the war. rest in peace bro. the pic is of the main street in our town lined with people supporting his family when he was brought home.

I too am canadian and feel for your loss as well for our own guys out there doing bushs cleanup job. How much longer can It go? gonna run out of troops in the nearer future you would think? Draft? More canadians, Britins french etc? Maybe some other county can help us ppl out by puttin more millitary preasure on the us so they will back down for once because they will realize they don't have the support? Can't fight every country at once.

I was against the war in Iraq before it started and have friends there now. But what do you think will happen to the people in Iraq, just like me and my family? What will they do if the US and allies just leave the mess and come home?

My brother is doing his second tour in Iraq. He is a pilot, he is a major, why is he there and why is he on the ground...good question. I support the men but not the war...that fucking greedy cowboy in office needs to get bitch slapped. It's unfortunate that we left a mess over there but who comes first your family or someone else's? I am so shocked that nothing has happened to Mr. Bush, most of this country doesn't dislike him, they hate him!!!

id rather have the soldiers home..i have friends there too but life isnt about carrying a gun and wearing kevlar..its about being with your family and friends..imagine..a mother sends off a son and gets a flag in return..its a goddamn shame and a pointless one..good post fdd some people tend to forget about all the ones weve lost and focus only on the politics..fuck the politics its life or death..and im not dying for Bush..i love my country but theres a line.

Personally, I don't see how Bush can look at himself in the mirror in the morning.
You know if we had the draft, this country would shut down this war so fast that it would make your head spin

They're workin on a draft right now. When the false flag attack comes in the Persian gulf, (remember the Tonkin gulf) they will have to start a draft to attack Iran. Also remember Nixon had 200,000 people standing outside the Whitehouse screaming stop the war and stop the draft. Didn't really faze him, do you think Bush is Better than Nixon, No fuckin way, He is ten times worse than Nixon, once the draft is instituted, he will have ample cannon fodder to attain his middle east dominance, Iran war, I'm thinkin 100,000 dead Americans, minimum. Our only hope is that his Generals revolt and refuse to attack or that he gets impeached so he can't continue his agenda, I'm hoping for the impeachment agenda.

I am totally opposed to the WARMONGER's Actions in Iraq and I fear Iran is next on his list, unless Congress can stop him.
I think him and Cheney ae criminals and ought to both be impeached.
I think they have made the USA look bad and ashamed to the entire world!
I curse them to hell!

Have you guys ever considered that we ARE at war with IRAN as we speak? Consider this; If we pull out of Iraq now and leave the Iraqi people hanging, they will be at the mercy of the Iranians and al Queda. There will be a blood bath and Iran will strengthen its foot hold throughout the Middle East. If we stay, and a democracy is established in Iraq, democracy establishes a foot hold in the Middle East along with Israel. As democracy spreads, Iran will collapse from within ... and we will have defeated Iran without firing a shot inside the Iranian border.

For those of you who want a U.S. pull-out in the Middle east, are you prepared to pay 5-10 dollars a gallon for gas ... and face the very possibility of alQueda/Iran obtaining nuclear weapons? Not only that, but Pakistan is teetering on the brink too ... and they already have nukes.

Keep on hating Bush, guys ... being stoned-blind has its advantages. Just ask the Ostrich.

Do you actually believe this drivel you post, or are you just stirring the shit? I'd like to think the latter or else I'd have to think you were crazy. Democracy in Iraq, you must be Nuckin Futz. The majority of Iraqis don't have a clue about Democracy. They just want to live in peace. The majority of Iraqis would ten to one take Sadam back if they could, at least they could walk down the streets and go buy groceries without fearing for their lives, they didn't have Americans crashing through their front doors all hours of the night and day. Wake up VI, there is no victory in Iraq, it is a figment of Bushs' demented mind, Nation building on a 20,000 year old culture, forget it.

Bush and the CIA just built an embassey the size of the VATICAN for 950 million dollars in Iraq. He is not planning on ever leaving.

Yeah I got family over there. Why do you think Al-Queda is in Iraq to begin with? Gee maybe if we had never invaded they wouldn't be there. This is not fair to the poor people over there. I like to see how you would react if you were over there. We have no business being over there, we need to stop supporting Israel, they have a excellent defense system. Hey Redd ever hear of imperialism? So in your mind it's OK that some people die so our gas doesn't go to $5 a gallon, nice. I'll make sure to tell my brother and all the other Marines in my family. This whole country is tied into the oil business because of these politicians to begin with. Why do you think all those alternative fuels are being suppressed? GREED. Go smoke your dope and enjoy yourself. Redd name one good thing about this war? Just one?

Oh and the way to win the war on terror is intelligence...not brute force. As for Iran, do you really think it will fall if Iraq has a democracy? Why did we stop with North Korea...oh that's right what do we have to gain? Nothing they have no oil. Redd if you support this war so much go signup up for the service, be a real patriot a hero. This president and his cabinet are just a bunch of greedy unethical f*cks. Go take your millions and do some good with it, like open up a fund for all the poor families and disabled guys coming back. We need these troops here to protect pur borders not half way across the world. Al-Queda is all over the world not just Iraq, do your homework. Yeah Pakistan, dude Pakistan has been that way since they got indepedence it's nothing new and provoking the Middle East is just plain stupid. Do you know how much business we do with Pakistan, do you know what would happen to them if we stopped trading with them? Economic collapse, how they gonna afford a nuclear program then? War is not the answer PERIOD!!!!

So then, I guess its safe to say that you didn't agree with my last post?

Here's a question or two for ya: Would the Iraqi people be better off with a free market, or a market operating under fascism? Are the Iraqi people better off with free elections, or a one-candidate dictator? Are the Iraqi women better off with equal rights under the law, or as property/chattle?

Would these kinds of freedoms/liberties in Iraq have influence among the young in IRAN or not?

I hate the war in Iraq! However, if we leave now there will be civil war in Iraq. Someone like Sadam or Iran will eventually take over. Then, this new regime and all their neighbors (for one reason or another) will reallly be pissed off at us. How many Americans will die then?
