Shes not a bad gurl but for some not so classy reasons they seem to despise her instead of just disagreeing with here on the issues like civil grown ups that have a difference in opinion.

trying to see it from your point of view, did you have your kids when you were real young?

My town is full of pregnant little girls. My state only teaches abstinence only and by the number of pregnant teens I see every day abstinence education doesn't work. I hate people like Palin who have some stupid idea that if you don't discuss sex with your kids they just won't find out about it. Not to mention of the woman can't handle her own family, how can she deal with world problems?

She paraded her pregnant teen around which makes teen pregnancy seem even more fun to young girls. "Bristol Palin is knocked up, I wanna be knocked up too". Ever heard the phrase "role model" No one from Palin's family fits that bill.

Teen pregnancy is a real problem in this country. Teen pregnancy puts a lot of strain on already tight state budgets. It's a strain on the welfare, medicaid, and food stamps systems. Not to mention all the health departments. These teens also just party their way through their pregnancies. Around here a really large portion of newborns test positive for controlled substances so those babies go straight into foster care.

I can tell that it's men who really wear the blinders when it comes to this problem. Women are more sensitive to it, men just can't seem to see it. My 16 year nephew goes to school with a 16 year old girl that has already shit out 3 kids. Seems like this issue needs to take a front seat instead of the trunk where it's always been.

Stop ignoring the teen pregnancy issue, turning your back on it does not make it go away.

Its not what you "claim," its what you say. I agree that McCain is a socialist ... any politician who voted for the bailout would come under that catagory. But if you consider Barak Hussein Obama a better choice, then how can you not be a liberal? Honestly, that doesn't compute. I mean, Obama is left of McCain by a long shot.

I never said he was a good choice, just the lesser of 2 evils. I personally can NOT afford to have to pay additional taxes on my health plan. As it is right now our health insurance is free through my husbands union. If we get taxed on that money it will screw us straight into the poor house. We barely scrape by as it is.

ya but moffit, Mcain is going to give you $5,000 a year which will more than cover the additional cost of the tax.

My kids are grown, so unless that child tax credit is retro to include all the years we didn't get any child tax credit, it does me no good. Also the tax credit McCain is talking about is 2500 per individual or 5000 per family. Right now I pay no tax on my health care which only covers 80% of medical bills. If Mc cain gets in, I'll have to pay out the 20% not covered and be taxed on benefits that are free for me right now.

I really dont see the tax credit even happening, this country is wedged so far in the hole from Bushie the kid that we'll never dig our way out. Don't forget that McCain is a politician. Politicians are famous for making empty promises to gain office. When the screwing takes place, I hope you are willing to stand in line and be fucked twice, once for you and once for me, because I refuse to bend over.

Nope the churches are running low on funds and the food pantry's are empty, they talk about that on the news around here a lot. A year ago food banks handled about 150 families. This year food banks are handling over 400 familes. That's over double the families in 1 years time. Scary thought.

Next year the food banks will be trying to handle 600 familes, hard to do when donations are at their lowest point in decades.

my problem is Im planning to be one of the ones makin $250,000 a year



but who ever wins this contest and becomes president ill be at his side 100% as he will have to deal with many grave and international threats

once that person is elected to the presidency he has my full respect.


when Barak says he wants to spread the wealth around doesnt it also have to mean that hes gonna spread the misery around also?

so its not like hes getting rid of anything hes just gonna tell me what to do with the fruits of my labor when the fruits I have labored for have not yet made me rich

If they are gonna tax the rich fine, but $250,000 a year is not rich. and its not enough for me to send my kids to private schools and good colleges live in a good neiborhood and create a large savings which I have earned if they are gonna rape me on taxes.


if they are gonna tax the rich they should start at the people making atleast $2,000,000 per year, that way there is not even a question if they are really rich, then you can tax them at a higher bracket and leave anyone below at thier current rates or they could even get rid of all taxes for people making less than $1,000,000 a year

im not sure if that would screw up the economy though. I think they are lieing when they say it will.

but i find it very unfair that i worked hard all my life to get to a certain stage and now right when I have everything comming together im gonna get 1/2 of the fruits of my labor taken away. this money I planned to help my children and future grand children

I 100% agree

the fact that the top 5% pay 95% of the taxes tells me that they may aswell let the super rich pay 100% of the taxes. then if you succeed to make say $2,000,000 per year thats when the taxes begin and the more money you have above $2million per year the more tax, then the ultra super rich should get the hugest burden

if they are paying 95% of the taxes anyway they should release the the majority from the taxes that they are paying which is only mustering up 5% of all tax revenues anyway. then raise up the taxation threshold to $2,000,000 and up and have the ultra wealthy take most of the burdon. so the poeple making $2,000,000 still have extra money to put into businesses and stuff

its pretty much the same thing we are doing now, but if we tweaked it that way then everyone would be good to go.

and then they wouldnt be stifiling up comming entrapernuers who are just starting to make a little bank.
