being taken to court over a online review

Nope!

For starters, patient information is strictly private information. For yourself, and your nominated doctor.

If it's indeed the case, then they're the ones breaking the law. Tell them to fuck off. (:
i will be but im still contacting legal advice of my own tomorrow. i hope i can do more then tell them to fuck off.
im off for now time for another fat cone or two and then bed to deal with this shit tomorrow

I'd tell them to kiss my ass, leave another bad review, and tell them I'll see them in court. You don't need legal advice you need to grow a pair and ignore this nonsense.
you think well they real and are requesting i pay Our client has incurred $1,027 in legal fees in relation to this matter and hereby demands payment of that amount on or before 27 June 2019, by way of direct deposit to the following account:

i told them i wont pay and i have no option but to seek legal advice what will be happening 2pm today

If you used your real name when making the review it's a simple task for a scammer to look up your address and send you a bogus letter pretending to represent the place you reviewed.

"Our client has incurred $1,027 in legal fees in relation to this matter and hereby demands payment of that amount on or before 27 June 2019, by way of direct deposit to the following account:"

Law firms don't operate that way. Sounds like a typical Nigerian scam. But if you want to waste your money on your own lawyer go ahead.

I don't like suggesting such a thing...i'd go to the local cop shop first. Tell them you think you're being scammed, and show them the registered letter.
Imho they'll likely find out for you, whether it's legit or not, pretty damn fast. Sucks arse, but they're the ones to ask.

If you have nothing to hide, then that's what i'd do.

Best of luck either way. Will keep an eye out for an update.

P.S. - just ignore them lol.

I dont get it, what exactly are the grounds for this action against you? Libel? Slander?
If there were legitimate grounds to prosecute anyone leaving a bad review online i somehow think there would be literally millions of such cases going on, every man and his dog would have heard about it.
Mate this is bogus, 100%. Get back online and leave another review telling everyone what is going on. They have a LOT more to lose than you.

How about contacting this so called medical clinic and ask them what's going on. They'll either refer you to their lawyer or tell you they don't know what you're talking about which is what is likely the case. This entire tale sounds fishy. It doesn't make any sense. And why would the cops show up at your house over a civil matter like this. Things don't add up. I'm skeptical of the entire story.

Fact remains, if you gave an honest review of your office visit, then you have nothing to fear. There is nothing wrong with giving a negative review, as long as it adheres to the actual facts. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I'm thinking the Dr.'s office has been thru this before, and has someone on retainer to handles issues just like this. Anyone can make a claim, and anyone can sue someone else- stand up for your rights and counter-sue them for your lawyer fees.........

No 'Freedom of Speech' Act In Oz now then?!
Of cause there is.
"
The right to freedom of opinion is the right to hold opinions without interference, and cannot be subject to any exception or restriction.

The right to freedom of expression extends to any medium, including written and oral communications, the media, public protest, broadcasting, artistic works and commercial advertising. The right is not absolute. It carries with it special responsibilities, and may be restricted on several grounds. For example, restrictions could relate to filtering access to certain internet sites, the urging of violence or the classification of artistic material.

If the police have turned up at his door as he claims then he has probably threatened people with bodily harm. Its not a police matter otherwise.
