Never grown it personally, but I hear White Widow is a good hot weather strain.
On my second run of WW.. depends what hot means but I can say its a strain that can take a beat up and jump back from it everytime.. very newby friendly (or forgiving lol).. and I personnally really like the high from this hybrid strain

You can definitely get closer. Try 12-14". Dim if needed. keeping the light close is important at this stage.

Can always fix a little stretch. What are you going to say when op asks why aren't my seedlings growing ? and they are burnt to a crisp .
Obviously a newer grower here lets not set him/her up to fail.
These are high intensity cobs not cfl or t8 lighting .

I run 9 3950s @ 550w on a light mover and rarely get them closer than 12 inches in full bloom .

Op how many watts does that take from wall

I said dim them man. If you think 24" is a good height for seedlings, you're crazy.

He does have plenty of space for burying the stem if it does.

its pulling 250 watts from the wall.

what could be the cause ?
no over watering .or any nutrients added
light is enough close. around 14-15 inches
using cree cxb3590 3500K on them at 1400mA
Humidity is around 45%
and temperature at 26 drgree celcius
near 79 F..
