I think it's thrips. Damage to the leaves? Ki da spotty, looks almost like mini snail trail?
I recently got them. I was told by a fairly reliable source that Spinosad is the way to go.
Gonna pick some up myself this week and start treatment.

thanks for the response. yeah im pretty sure they are thrips, I wanted an experienced eye though. local grow store gave me something called "wipe out" ready to use formula. legal state so he had hemp plants set up and showed me how to spray correctly to get all those bastards.
I plan on ordering some of that spinosad online. I didn't want to wait to treat the plants so I took what he had then though. ill get spinobad for future. now that I know what to look for I remember seeing their plant damage before and realize I need better pest damage identification and control.

They are really small. I am guessing maybe a 1/16 of an inch...…...you will strain to see them on your leaf without magnification. don't touch your plant because I believe they will move.... but look along the crease of the leaf. ppl will tell you to look under the leaf. but I saw them all on top of the leaf. there was small white specs. some looked like little lines. not long ones. after a while your leaf will die from to much damage. mine seemed to dry up quickly.
I Will try to come back later and post leaf damage pics for you to compare. the bugs in my experience were brownish colored.
I first saw them crawling in my soil.... they were everywhere. next day I couldn't find them in the soil.
BTW that wipeout stuff seemed to help

although I did use wipeout on my veg plants (they are now doing ok).. I didn't use it on my flowering plants. and was still able to get close to pound and a quarter of GG#4 with some saying its among the best they've had. So it shouldn't be a total loss even if you are late taking out the bugs.

all I want for Christmas is a grow with no issues.

BTW post pics of your leaf damage.

if you go to the same store as me, look for that loupe. its about 10 bucks.. You attach it to your phone and it can take video using your phones cam. it is much easier to take a video and extract a clear bug shot from that. than to try to get one of those bastards to stand still enough for my camera to focus and hit the button at the right time without moving the camera. they are small and don't stay still. I hope to get a better loupe some day. but that one will do for now.
Inked20181206_101709 - Copy_LI.jpg The damage they do looks like the small white spots I have circled.
Inked20181206_101718 - Copy_LI.jpg again the damage done is circled. The red circle and arrows pointing is where you should look imo for them, they seem to like to run to that area for protection when disturbed. they also are found a lot around the veins.
They are no bigger than the length of one of those white spots. they are brown and look like a small speck of dust. turn off your fan.
I don't know if you've ever hunted. but its kinda the same thing, your looking for movement. stay still and just watch a leaf with damage. wait and watch what you think is dust on the leaf. some of that dust may move. Don't use the loupe for this. just use your eyes.

when i get home going to try that with my phone, sounds like a great idea.

yes exactly i feel like an idiot on all fours staring at the plant looking for movement, but if there was a bug on my leaves i would think i wpuld have noticed it by now.

my last feedings i added the full dose of calmag and all the spots have not appeared on any of the new growth so i am assuming my issue was actually calcium defiency, but i definitely will be keeping a close eye checking every day for the next weeks coming as i just switched over to 12/12 for the first time

also, holding a white piece of plain paper and “whacking” the plant a few times looking if anything falls on the paper
