View attachment 4140406 Got mine today!! Only their is one "problem" (kinda not really) i got two packs of the brooklyn sunrise instead of getting a Blue Dream'matic.. Got 5 soaking now. Thanks!
Sorry about that bud - it looks like Greg has made a couple of mistakes - he is only a young laddie, so we'll not be too hard on him :)
Shoot me a message buddy, and we'll sort something out.

both popped overnight, good and healthy, both kicked off the shell by themselves, woke up to them like this

Brooklyn Sunrise is marked BSA, the Blue Dream'matic...is....you get it....

in promix, not feeding anything yet, in a few days i'll start with 100 ppm jack's 20-20-20, gonna keep the feeding light, may never go over 200 ppm, guess it just depends on how hungry they seem.

@Jack Vault . The rules don't seem to say to much.
This is my first comparative grow and first auto grow. It sounds like you would like us to pop all 5 (or as many as we can) and document the hows and whys. Anything in particular you guys are looking for or would like us to try to achieve?

No specific 'rules' after this point as such, more like guidelines to follow.
Basically grow as many of the seeds as you can, and do a grow diary on the relevant thread for the strain you grow. That is all Jack really asks.
Try to get them full term is the aim.
Give everyone details of your setup.
That way, not only do we all get to try the same strain, we can look at how other people go about it and
what results they get.
I know we are growing from seeds not clones, but if someone has a slightly different setup to you and kills it results wise, we can all look at what they did and see how we can tweak our setup to try and improve our results.
There are so many different ways to do things...even germinating. People like myself opening the pack and drop a seed directly into a pot, some soak in water, some do paper towels. If your way doesn't get as good a result as another person, see what they did differently.
Basically this is a chance for a huge learning curve or knowledge base for everyone who entered, or even just people browsing the thread, and with the end result that we get free buds and a t shirt. Win win in my opinion!

Haha im not a bad photo grower but i have only done autos twice

And while the buds where good, on par with photos

I couldnt get them bigger then a 1 oncer on one and a even smaller one

Granted i just read somewhere about feeding autos a veg feed till they stat to throw pistils

But im not sure the first one i grew using advanced gmb in 3 gallons of coco

Last one i bloomed in a 4 inch rockwool block (probably the reason it was small)

I havent decided what i want to do with these yet

As far as grow style ......

As long as no one cares ill be trying to reverse one of them to pollinate the other 4 for auto fems :) havent decided yet

Super happy to participate though and as soon as i get my next rotation situated this week

Ill turn my attention to these autos :)

I know you have done way more autos then me bb

Any tips or hard rules to getting a good outcome?
Im an auto noob
Start straight to final pot. 3-5 gallons with around 3 being what I prefer. You can go way bigger and get bigger plants but after about 5 gallons the extra isn't worth the space.

Use veg nutes all the way through or at least until stretch is done. Bloom nutes at first sign of flower will speed them up.

Using the veg nutes and planting straight to bigger pots will extend veg time. Should go around 90-100 days.

If they put on a few sets of leaves without flowering pinch just the top off gently to make it bush out and yield more.

The clue is in the name bud - grow and compare :)
Just grow these girls out, and post your methods and photos, and compare them with all the other guys - that way you can all see the best methods for getting the best results when using autos - it's all about you guys learning, and having fun at the same time - double score! :))
[and of course, be sure to check your local laws]

Ok so I've got 2 of mine started IMGP0322.JPG IMGP0324.JPG :) . I start my count when the first true leaves show, so they are 2 days old in my book. Maybe we can share some thoughts on how others start day counts? As you can see I like to start sprouts in jiffy pellets, I had some early problems with damping off seeds and I find these somewhat "idiot-resistant" lol. Once they show true leaves I put the pellet into the final pot (usually 2-5gal) and mark the date on the plant tag. Mainly due to what I had available, I decided to run one of each in a small 2gal and 1 in a 4gal, so I'm curious to see how that works out.
I was lucky enough to win a bag of Mega Crop nutrients, so I'll be using that start to finish (starting at 1g/gal moving up to 5g/gal in flower) with cal-mag if needed. I'm reading some concern about the Mega Crop having too much N for flower, so I may use some sensei bloom a/b I have lying around if I feel it's an issue?
So for setup I'll veg them under a 4' t5ho for the first few weeks then they will live in a 4'x4' tent with a 600w HPS, I'm thinking 24/0 for flower cycle this time, I did my last round 20/4 so I'm just curious what the difference would be (if any).

Im on day 10 ( i start my count as soon as i start to germinate) i put mine straight into a 1L pot with Bio Bizz all mix soil all my seeds usually break the surface in 24 hours i personally think this is the best and fastest way. I got my plants on a 18/6 cycle. Yesterday i transplanted to a 3L pot. For my setup i have a 80cmx80cmx160cm grow tent with two 30w CFL bulbs and a usb fan i will be getting a ventilation set up soon but thats all im using for now.
