hey riuers, old and new,

been away for a long time, but i'm back and ready to show you my first outdoor grow (third overall), which is in progress.

i picked up three awesome clones: agent orange, blueberry, and white widow in late july. had them in party cups with a couple cfls for the first few weeks and put them outdoors around august 15. they started showing signs of sex around august 25, so for the sake of simplicity i'm saying that they've been flowering since august 20...

more info on the clones:

- agent orange (tga seeds / dark heart nursery)
- hybrid / sativa
- Orange Skunk x Jacks Cleaner x Space Queen
- flowering ~60 days

- white widow
- hybrid / indica
- brazil (sativa) x India (indica)
- flowering ~65 days

- blueberry
- indca 80 / sativa 20
- Purple Thai (f) x Afghan (m)
- flowering ~55 days

soil: fox farms ocean frost
nutes: not much, just a little bloom nutes every couple of weeks
extra: spraying a little "greencure" to prevent powdery mildew

here are they, are on sep 9 (2.5 weeks into flowering). props to metasynth for his metaspoons idea and to micro.grower for his closeup loupe idea.

Wooot! Nice healthy girls you got there, bud! Good and green, no yellowing or signs of deficiencies...Splendid! I'm coming up the coast with my older cousin for a couple days, pretty sure I'll be right up in your area at some point, so maybe we can grab some dinner or just have a smoke or something. Sept 24th, 25th, and coming back to LA on the 26th I believe...PM me and we'll talk!

Beautiful!

I need to upload a piece of stonerneering I made last year, if I ever figure out where in my storage shed I stashed it at least... I got some kinda funky mirror thing from a buddy of mine that using that geometry to focus a light beam into a superfine point. (Think it was a parabolic mirror.) Using one of those in series with a light bulb (yes I know tweaker status) and a magnifying glass I made a vaporizer that uses only the power of the sun!... but the bitch is it takes 20 minutes or longer to warm up on a typical day. I made it out of necessity when camping last year, my buddy has a great little cabin but we ran out of lighter's and rolling paper's. And I'll be danged if I am going to inhale phosphorous matches all day.

Yea not growing anything quite yet, not living somewhere that allows growing. The landlord has a good understanding, and we came to an agreement she won't pitch no trouble if I don't grow anything on the property and follow state guidelines for maximum possession. Hell I could probably have convinced her to let me put a greenhouse down but even so the boondock's village I live in now doesn't have a single area far enough from school's churches and daycare's for a permit grow unless ya are outside of the city limits! (Which I am damn close but not quite close enough too...)

Now as far as my return to RIU... Been tough couple of year's for myself and my family especially financially and I gotta say these dispensary bastards are just capitalist's they have no regard for the medicinal aspect other than profitability. (Locally at least.) I went to several dispensaries over the last 2 years patroning them as much as is required and no more and all of them charge moderately to exorbitantly more than street rates! These people are charging more than street dealer's and I am sick of supporting it. Not too mention I just can't afford it! A few months ago my old growing partner and I came to agree... desperate times call for desperate measure. We're going to guerrilla grow us some medications for nerve pain, screw 350-380 a ounce. And maybe a little munchie and sleepytime weed's for the ol' hippy. :) If I could find another patient to sub the right's to for a nominal cut I would jump on it in a second flat but since my family had to move closer to my old lady's side of the family I don't know anyone anymore who I trust enough and owns land that isn't at least 2 hours away. So here I am researching and preparing for next year. I am not likely to show off the project though.... as all project's posted so far were legal under the local code of the area I was in at the time. But this project will be lacking a permit and as such... well I am a bit paranoid to post any evidence of it being more than a fantastic concept that is absolutely not evident. :)

By the way I gotta get a hold of some Agent Orange seed's for novelty if nothing else, as that's the name of one of my cat's.
