Effects of LST in 3 weeks

So I started LST on my master kush females on May 5th and thought I would show how fast results take place and maybe persuade some of those on the fence about it. My roommate is growing one ( same strain) straight up with no LST and my babies already have more tops and are only about an inch or less shorter than his. Will never not LST again haha any thoughts?

Gonna let em grow straight up now until flower when ill untie em. I now have 9 tops with big fan leaves, hardy stems and short inter nodes.its crazy how they initially stretch than shorten out and get hardy. I should get some nice colas going come flower. Fan leaves are tucked or tied down out of the way. No pruning. Feel free to ask questions I'm no pro but hey I know.a little lol

Keep it up ! I'm a big believer in LST over topping plants but I do only grow outdoors and have no height issues.

Thanks hic, if I could do this then anyone can, its so easy lol

Semor90 thanks bro, LST is awesome bc there is no recovery time, I actually think the branches thicken bc of the low stress training. My girls are outside too I just use a couple 23 w cf ls 6500K to help them along. They only get 4-6 hours of direct sunlight in their permanent cages (I have energetic dogs lol) I wanna get em to 4ft finishing if possible, I did it for the multiple tops :leaf:

Oh they totally thicken! But don't untie them until harvest, or the bens may try and recomepnsate/bend back and put all your colas into one place-the center.

Ive always said if you try LST you will never not train plants again!

Ive had a plant that went about 24-30" wide and less than 12" tall, by harvest my total height was about 18"-20" max. Like fifteen- twenty colas. In a three gallon pot.

In ground, you can keep tieng down throughout the season an have a fucking monster plant that takes up 20 linear ft of space and still reach your 4ft goal of height. Imagine...

Haha that would be awesome man, think of how many colas that would be! And imma little glad you said you used a 3 gal pot too bc i thought it was too small. I was gonna transplant into 5 gallon smart pots three weeks after June 21st. I would've just untied them after this transplant but I can just retie the colas if I do decide bc i tied to the pot.

Lighting those are some nice plants yo. Any problems transplanting those babies? When do you transplant and into what size pots. Thanks guys

Looks great man. What would be best to use for doing this outdoors and at how many nodes should I start doing this?

Yeah but wasn't sure if that was when you first started LST or not. Where did you buy the things you use to support the LST?

I have only been able to ignore plants enough to not LST once...and I prefer LST..I find that untrained plants for one, get too tall, don't have as many branches as I want...and they start to fall over when the tops get big, and the bottoms never do...

missnu after reading your signature does this mean me using molasses as an additive to water deprive the soil of nitrogen? The only other fertilizer being used is some bone and blood meal that I added weeks before I started.
