3 Bagseed from Ft. Collins, CO (I think it is Skunk Red Hair??)
1 Blueberry Bagseed from Cali (shipped in, 1 tiny seed/oz)

Noticed pistils around the end of July

Went out today between the periods of hard rain and shot these pics. Lighting was poor and buds were soaked!

EDIT - saw the actual height you posted, i'm really stunned with this

I popped four of these seeds, and by day 2 one was towering above the others by almost 50%. Figured it was a male. I figured wrong. It's a female with a strong Sativa pheno. The others are much more squat.
Oh, and the compost tea. Can't neglect the fact I am a 3rd generation cultivator..of course. *looks at ground and curses* It's a rougher life than you might think.

i have seen other tall plant posts, but i don't recall any quite this high

Thanks That was a 10' rebar I pounded in about, oh, two feet or so. I then had to add an "extention" to reach the top of the cola, which by my best guess is anywhere from 11-12 feet off the ground. The base of the stem is very thick.

I will definitely be saving the stem from this momma. That was taken about a month ago next to a 55mm lens cover. It has fattened up since. Note my plastic "slug protector" which I filled with dirt early on to stimulate root growth.

used to do outdoor grows in NY years ago, nothing like this though
we have to be getting into the multi pound plant, though i can't see all the plant too clearly

Thanks for the kind words. The weather stinks, I am cringing because sun right now is a MUST!

I don't think I will get over a pound on this plant. It would be capable of producing that much, but it does not get morning sun and will not live up to its vegetative potential.
I am guessing 8-10 ounces, but hey, you never know!

LMAO!!! I love it, fooking priceless. I'm in the upstate area myself, lots of rain from the hurricane last week, now a huge slow moving trough this week, if don't stop soon we'll all be swimming.

Yeah! What a surprise this summer has been. Hot early on in spring, then dry, then really wet- now STILL really wet. Looks like it should be getting warm again, whattya know?

Yeah, I haven't missed an outdoor crop since 1983, the year I got out of the service, I don't get out as many as I did when I was younger, but I still get a few out here and there, sorry, no photos.

Whats ur soil Ph ? and JEEZUS CHRIST that a big one. how longs it been out doors or is it just great Genetics

*looks ashamed* Actually, my soil pH is, rather low.. I forgot to add lime to my soil mixes, and growing a habenero along with the plant does not do any good for soil pH.
The good news is that our soil is extremely basic due to dolomitic lime formations of my area. Actually, our calcium levels are so high that a famous form of mineral comes from my area and it's color is totally unique to this locality.
So, once the roots reach the ground (from the 1.5 foot fence circles with weed cloth and my unique but un-buffered soil mix) they are essentially home free in a very buffered location.

The habenero plant/blueberry plant is in a pot though, so it does not have access to this buffered ground, and pH was at a measily 4.5 near the hab's roots. Horrible. The large plant and others have about a 5.5 in its "smart pot" and 6.5 around the neighboring soil.
The highly acidic soil may have made the blueberry plant more susceptible to leaf spot mold. I am still trying to figure it all out.
You can be sure that I will not forget the lime next year!

Actually, my plants were put out in late May. Seeds were started indoors at the beginning of May.
Imagine I started indoors in late Februrary like most growers do in my area? That plant would be ENORMOUS.
The blueberry took a whopping ONE MONTH AND ONE WEEK TO GERMINATE!!! I was actually going to throw the seeds out when I noticed one had finally popped *wow*.
So, the blueberry was sprouted a month after the others.

From what I see and what I've read I think you did/are doing an outstanding job of getting those beauties home, good luck to you and your finish.
