LST immediatly after topping?

Do you have to keep the plant tied down through it's whole life cycle or will there be a time when you can untie her & it will still be vertical?

once you hit flower the branches will get much more stiff after that point you can untie but you dont have to

I topped and lst'd, and in my experiance, this is my first lst grow, and it worked great. I waited until the side growth started growing well, then i clipped leaves as the went in front of other growths, now im in my 8th day of flower... And she is doing awdome!! Here is when i tied her down..IMAG0181.jpg and this is a pic from like 3 weeks ago IMAG0218.jpg and two weeks ago IMAG0227.jpg and yesterday IMAG0236.jpg IMAG0238.jpg i have found my favorite way to thus far. My main stem is one of the heads at the edge of the pot, all the ones in the middle and the rest on the side are my side growths off the main stem. Its amazing how much you can train this plant. Giod luck growing man! Keep it up!

Id wait a little whil. Maybe a week or a few days. Let her destress after each time you stress her out. For example, topping, tieing down ( not as much cause after a while they start to respond to tieing down much faster). But ya, wait like a week before tieing down again after a ttansplant.. then go crazy! Soon you will have a new arm to tie down every few days. Its insane how well this method works!

I'm on my first grow, so granted I know I did a lot of things wrong, but right now they're looking very nice. I'm about 12 days into flowering and they're looking crazy. I topped them late in veg, and that made all the nodes explode out so they're nice and bushy. There were too many nodes not getting light though so I LST'd them, and they fucking love it. I'll always do that in the future. It helps them grow so much and helps all the nodes grow just like the tops. So far so good. The seeds were bagseed, but it's looking like I have 1 thats some of the nice skunk I had awhile back that I got some seeds out of. That's my best growing one. Big and already smelling nice.

Ya, as mine grew, i tied and untied the main stem somthing like 4 times, same with my side growths, i just kept doing that until they were almost to the edge, then i just let it go. I do the occasional leaf trimming to speed up growth from below. It looks like i have a little MJ bush inside a bush!
