If people worry about infrared, why not just use lights in daytime?

If you are using HID's to flower with, can't you just use them for the 12hours during daylight? Cops can only scan for heat at night, correct? So this should really be a non issue unless I'm missing something?

yeah the can scan heat all day long dude....

especially in a nice a/c house.but I think you direct the heat out they cant detect it.

If it's 90 degrees or even hotter outside, and you have a small grow operation setup, I can't imagine the infrared could be very effective?

it isn't effective in the first place most of the time if you are careful. Just don't blast the walls of your house with heat and you'll be fine.

where you are matters alot. it's illegal to detect for that here in my state but yours may be different. just be careful and vent it up over the roof or thru an attic, heat from attics is normal!

thats all you see in the forum is repeat threads over and over again so whats it matter

i wouldnt think you would have anything to worry about unless you have a very large grow, they arent going to investigate you for some heat(there are hundreds of possibilities for heat in your personal dwelling) Now if they do scan in your state and you give them a reason to pay attention to you(smell, complaints from neighbors)then they might use IR to back up their suspicions.

I wonder where one could go to figure out if they IR in your state? Is there a site anywhere?
