First True Grow (240w LED htgsupply 7 band, dwc, super silver haze) Make suggestions.

Digging the set up, I'm an HPS/MH user myself but LED is something I've wanted to try my hand in for a few years. I honestly can not find anything wrong with this initial set-up; the only thing I would suggest is placing some LED under the canopy in order to shine some light into the bud sites. Other then that, this set is clean sir.
 
i would use hps/mh, but my room can't handle the heat. i vent back into my room and don't have windows, just open the door and have a circulating fan to change out the air from the apt to my room.

And I live in an apartment with a shared meter, so i wanted to use as little power as possible.
 
I changed my filtration around...

Put a carbon filter on the end on the fan as well as inside the closet on the duct work. I have it emptying into the drop down ceiling of my room. I moved the ozone gen out of the grow space and put it up in the ceiling.

As of yesterday all grow smell is eliminated and there is only a slight hint of ozone in my room and the rest of the apartment. There is no smell at all going upstairs...woot!

Hope it stays that way for the up comming weeks
 
Looks good! I am running a 180W Pro-Grow with 3 plants that just started to bloom. It is my first grow with LEDs and your success gives me hope of my own success. The LEDs are working as expected. Keep on keepin' on!

your only two or three weeks behind me, and this is the furthest I have ever gotten in a grow before... I wouldn't call it a success just yet. But thx!
 
I was hoping a chiller wouldn't be needed with LEDs, did you use it cuz you had it or was it actually necessary? Temps without it?

The temps without the rez chiller are the same as my air temps... 70-80*. This is alittle warmer then I wanted and I had a chiller already, so i used it...

With LED's you could probably get away without using it. My friend didn't use a rez chiller with his hps... his plants were fine.

I am however in a very hot part of the basement... I have lizard cages right next to the closet, making heat...and the heat here is higher in the summer and the temps were getting in the 90s. Rez temps were getting close to that. That is why I put it in...it barely runs now that the house is cooler because of winter.

With proper ventilation (which i don't have) the chiller wouldnt even run.
 
Here is a update on the girls..

I did a good amount of damage to them getting that net installed. But they are recovering well

Also a good amount of ozone damage, im sure it will be fine since i got the generator moved.

Threw some cfl's in there cause my corners look to dark with the net in. And those sweet bud sits look hungry for light! (I don't know if it will actually make a difference, but i don't care about staying led pure anymore... I want that yeild!)

Nice, I always wanted to learn to ride like that but never had a bike I was willing to lay down. I sold the Yamaha after getting arrested for doing a wheelie in front of a bunch of police :) It was my 3rd incident with the cops and my bike being impounded. My insurance went through the roof, from $400 a year to over $3k along with a $300 impound and a $600 ticket.

My record is since clean again, and I every so often throw the idea of getting another bike to the wife... It doesn't get far though :)

That is a "lot" bike...I bought it for 1k with no title (dude stopped making payment). it was semi setup for stunting already...but i put about 800 into it to get it to be where it is now. This bike is not for the street.... parking lots only... so no problems with cops.

Wheelin like that is all about practice and patients... there is a huge scene in cali...im sure you could find a "lot" without so much effort and watch/learn from some stunters.

But don't get me wrong...i got two other bike that i ride on the street...just got to run if you know u can get away... but running in the city is easy...highway can be tricky if you dont want to go over 120mph.

get away in the city: speed up, hit about three turn... done.
get away on the highway: speed up (way up), get into some traffic.... then hit the first exit you find when that cop is out of sight.

Don't ever run if it is between 2am and 5am....ur likely to be one of the only people around.
 
The tops of the plants look great... but from about half way down the leaves are starting to die..

Anyone know what this might be?

I keep the ph between 5 and 6, it seems to get continually acidic. using the vial with drops...

UPDATE TIME...

Since getting a tds meter and changing the water last week...

currently using tap water that sits for a few days with bubbles going in it... ppm starts at 104. (Have a RO system coming)

Days since water change... Measurements are taken before making adjustments to ph.

Day1: ppm: 1000, ph: 6
Day2: ppm: 1350, ph: 6.5
Day3: ppm: 1400, ph: 5 (So I added ph up till ph 6.5)
Day4: ppm: 1520, ph: 5.0 (added ph up till ph 6)
Day5: ppm: 1610, ph: 5.5 (added ph up till ph 6)
Day6: ppm: 1660, ph: 4.5 (added ph up till ph 7 - - also added 2 gallon tap water)
Day7: ppm: 1640, ph: 7 (added 1 gallon of fish tank water @ ppm 1040, ph 4.5 and brought the ph down to 6.5)

After a week of adjusting the ph every day... to have the ph stabalize for 24 hr is out of the ordinary. I can't wait till i get the RO system and rid myself of tap water.
