Water plants with milk?!

My friend says farmers grow those huge competition pumpkins by watering them with milk (and water every now and then). He says I will have mutant buds too if I do this.

He says they also grow giant asperagus and bean stocks the same way.

What do you think?

well they say the reason the children in this day and age r much bigger and fill out at younger ages becouse of the steroids they feed r cows and then we drink thier milk and eat there meat makes sence to me,why wouldnt it work on plants, hmm,i wonder

I suppose it could be possible but it is probably due to the cows being given high doses of growth hormones and then passing it onto the plants whereas we would probably pass it out of our systems then plants could and probably would synthesize it.

Having said that i reckon it would surely stink and go of real quick, maybe there is a kind of mould in rotten milk that helps root growth.
Also i noticed that full fat milk is full of carbs so that is probably why the plants are bigger because of a high carboload, but i personally wouldnt try it who wants plants that stink of rotten milk:spew:

lol NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, do not water your plants with milk!!!

this will kill your plants, lol i can't stop laghing,

i know from experiance that this is a bad idea, it kets pulled into your plants and rots, it is fucked up.

when i was like 12 i watered a couple house plants and a cactus with milk cause i thought it would make it grow better cause milk is good for me? the plants were dead a about a week, but the cactus... lasted about 2 months, and we kept smelling something bad in the kitchen and the smell just wouldn't go away, i finally figured out that is was the cactus which hd rotted from the inside out and there was a huge cavatey filled with smelly rotted liquid and nauctious gasses.

eww gross

if you did use milk you would have to thin it out just for a start,in all reality im sure if it was any good it would only be any good in an outdoor setup:blsmoke:

Haha.............. a full 5 course meal in the works. How about just dropping one of those pills from Willy Wonka's and dissolving it into some water.

Maybe use the powdered milk or the baby stuff like SMA or Cow & Gate? I know they are full of minerals & vitamins etc... maybe there is some logic in using this.. Powdered milk like normal milk sure as hell stinks when it's on the turn though!

Interesting thread..

if you dilute the milk very very good it def will work. i tried it in my last grow last but you must do it like once a week or to me i did it once every 2 weeks during flowering. i never did this during the vegetative. i mean come on we put bat shit and all kinds of gross things in our grows. urine can also be used but it must be fresh and whatever the persons diet is that will come out in the pee. diluttion is needed for this and everyone knows you have to dilute fertilizer like fox farm and miracle grow. just dont overwater with these things. trust me. it works.
