5000k is the temperature of the light on the Kelvin scale. During veg, higher K temperatures are needed for faster growth BUT what's confusing is, the higher the temperature, the COOLER the light color. So your blues are higher on the scale, but cooler to the eye. Red light is cooler on the...

Yeah thankfully I have central HVAC so if I keep the temperature on this floor around 68-71 the cabinet stays around 80 with lights on and 70-75 without.

watched a video of this last night. In the video there was no pump or tubing, but that coil type system sounds like it'd work well.

The carbon is pretty cheap at the petco near me. I plan on making one that's not huge, I only have 2 plants. OP those buds look nice man, wish the bugs weren't fucking things up. Best of luck.
