You already started a thread on this; don't hijack this one. I've already answered this question on your other thread...
As it relates to this post. No, double the size does not mean double the yield. You need to get light to all the nodes/bud sites to get a larger yield.
If you're outdoors, you'll have problems as the plants won't re-veg in the winter. If you're inside, I would recommend re-vegging vs. using clones. The yield is actually higher each successive time. Depending on how bushy and how big you want your plant, leave some buds at the bottom of the...
HPS during flowering, 8 weeks = ~1 oz smoke per plant. As others have said, it depends on several factors. I've never seen an average sized plant produce more than 2 oz smoke; your numbers must have included some wet weed.
Flower whenever you feel it's necessary. I've vegged a plant for a year, and when I flowered her, she grew another 10 inches, but she was almost five feet tall when I started flowering her. You should know how much she will sprout up if you've flowered the strain before. I'm not sure what...
Do you have good air circulation? Sounds like the plants are heating up. Back off the lights and make sure you get good airflow. I also try to rotate my pots a few times a day
Wait for roots.
I usually clone about six at a time. I use a clear tupperware storage container (flipped upside down so the lid is the floor for your girls). I leave the clones in there with a low wattage/lumen fluorescent light stick on it 24hrs/day. Once you see a few roots jetting out...
I have some really good indica, but the hippies don't want to buy it b/c they say it doesn't smell good. To them, it must stink really bad to be good weed.
What strains have you guys used that have great bag appeal to the nose?
That sucks dude...whenever I have gotten lower yield it has had to do with node sites and light. I've never experienced nutes impacting yield directly. Good nutes make a bigger plant. A bigger plant gives you higher yield. Do you have pics of the girls before you chopped them? Another thing...
You'll get a descent plant with potting soil only (though nutes will increase your yield). If you decide to re-flower the girl, you'll need to buy nutes.
I'm not sure about your method, but let us know how it goes.
Bushes grow real well (I get mine bushy by re-flowering a single girl, not multiple). I like keeping the 400W HPS bulb about even with the lip of the bucket (I use 5 gallon buckets with soil). Make sure you rotate the girls often...
Your idea would work, but man, that sounds like a lot of work transfering the plants and takes up a lot of space.
I have eliminated the need for this completely by re-flowering plants. You get a nice looking bush (which is even better on space)with slightly increasing yield every time (I'm...
