Well, almost a yr later and I've refined the growing a bit. Also gonna try a strawberry and tomato in a bucket, Kratky Style. About three days in After a week or so.Those are dollar containers from dollar tree. A little coco coir media, and a shammy from the auto section at dollar tree. Cut...

    Wtf is happening ?

How about some background? Grow media? Environment? Water/nutes? I've had success with a seedling kit from WalMart, some rockwool cubes in a half gallon orange juice jug a cut in half and doing the microgreen grows in the dollar tree tubs. I will give you the stuff I grow isn't the same as you...

    Aquaponics

I don't have a book recommendation but I have watched a bunch of vidz on YouTube on aquaponics. Lots of info and good ideas of how to set one up and keep it running. Where to get fish and what they grow. How the pump and filter is setup. I've been on the look out for a couple cheap ibc...

    Seedling in rockwool?

I would keep it "damp" and wait for the roots to come out of the bottom. I'm using the smaller cubes and going into a water/nute solution when the roots come out the bottom of the rockwool.

Anyone grow anything besides weed indoors here?

I started a bunch of seeds in some rockwool. I put them into some down spout hydro/kratky method setups that a guy on youtube posts. I'm still learning the nute game. I bought the stuff/nutes this mr Duzee1 uses and have tried it in gallon quantities so far. These are bell peppers I got from a...

    Microgreens

I tried out some of those grow pads. They work. I also put a couple more into the coco coir media. I like to cut em with a scissors and put them on salads. I don't know about tasty as I use a habanero ranch dressing but I hope they will help with over all health

    Microgreens

I think it is just too cold for them to make. I don't think I used enough seed and will try to leave them covered longer. Maybe 5 days instead of just three. Just some 'Gangly" sprouts. They were harvested and eaten. I'm waiting on some more seed I ordered.

Leaving Seedlings for a few Days

id let em ride. No sense in stirring up your room mate.before you do some more seedlings you should try making some of these. it has a compartment below to hold water and I used and used an old tee shirt to wick the water up to the grow area. I used coco coir to grow in . I saw it on YouTube...

Hey, New guy here. Not really looking to make a grow yet but am getting into aeroponics and found this site in a google search. Want to branch into hydro and aqua ponics but decided to start off with the aeroponics first as it seemed like we could start off with a smaller out lay. We have...
