thanks for the line bro! i dont really believe so. i am going to reverse my ventilation when flowering comes by using my 2 PC fans as intake and the vortex as the exhaust. It will exhaust through a carbon scrubber and out to the window. so hopefully smell will be diminished or kept at a minimum...

you shouldnt trip but it would be good to take some precautions and still ground that wire (some metal surface) incase of a shortage

honestly you wont need the cool tube reflector for a 400w in a open big space (if you have air moving, fans, etc.)
