Metal Halide VS High Pressure Sodium

Agree double...if it aint broke don't fix it, been using ArgoSun for number of years, HPS is good, but does it make that much difference, minimal for the added expense.

    Re: Newbie needs help

When trichomes are clear plant is not ready, when 80% of trichomes are cloudy, (meaning max THC production, even a few slightly brown or deteriorated), time to harvest. It becomes an art, Ive found waiting a longer is better.

whats more potent than y griega?

I use Pro-Mix BX, worm casting tea, bat and bird guano. I see your using soil from your property, you should never do this because of Spider Mites and other pests. If you see your grow slowly being destroyed its something you won't forget.

whats more potent than y griega?

I too fell victim to Y Greiga...I have always been leery of potency claims. Seedbanks are not regulated, they can claim anything they want. If you don't burn up your grow with heavy nutes, drown them with over water or the myriad of other challenges that accompany a grow, your doing all right...

    looking for some C. afganica

Not rambling about anything...Question was "Looking for C. Afghanica...both of these strains are crossed with Maple leaf Afghani...not recommending anything.

    Guano Guide by 3LB

The key to remember is Nitrogen for Veg, Phosphorous for flower. For example, Indonesian Bat Guano comes from Fruit bats so they have more phosphorous than Mexican Bats whose primary diet is insects, hence more protein. Look at NPK ratings. LESS IS MORE. Also I would give up on the idea of...

    Guano Guide by 3LB

Good read, very informational. I was unaware of the impact of synthetic fertilizers until I used them on my lawn one day, three days later I noticed frogs with tumors and chemical burns. That was the beginning of my "organic" gardening. The safest to use is worm casting tea 1-0-0, you have to be...

    looking for some C. afganica

Also, another overlooked strain is Sensi's "Marleys Collie", Afghan x Jamacian...very potent cross.

    looking for some C. afganica

The Flying Dutchman has a strain they call Afghanica, its a cross between Afghani maple leaf and Skunk #1, excellent strain... Here is a pic two weeks before harvest.

    growing white widow problem

Your kidding....20/20/20...you have stunted the plant with nitrogen, it will not recover...main problems with beginning growers is that they kill their plants with over nutes...over water thinking more is better.WRONG. Less is more...

    No Potency

Everything looks right. Had some bad reports on "Blue Dream", review said it was beautiful plant, looked great, grew fantastic but had no punch. TGA is usually top notch but not familiar with other Breeder. everything here looks great, including yield, the thing I would question is harvest...

    Trichomes & Harvesting

Takes an eye at first but is very obvious when using right magnification, some say you can use 10x mag, but is much better at 60x-100x

    Nutrients for soil grows

All of the expensive nutes use worm castings as a base, it will not burn the roots, the plants thrive. For a Tea, get a 5 gal bucket, pair of wifes panty hose, fill bucket w/water, put 2 cups worm casting in hose and tie in a knot. Place in water soaking overnight with 5 gal aquarium pump to...

    Nutrients for soil grows

Less is more, how many grows have been poisoned and crops destroyed by over/nutes, over/water by well meaning, but inexperienced gardeners. If you look at the ingredients of all of the expensive "organic" nutes you are going to find Bat or Bird Guano, all include worm castings Nothing...
