Yes.. I've grown under non~LED circumstances as well..
Unless you can put 1000 Watts of direct LED power on your plants.. They are only to be used as supplemental to CFL's..
Make sure you have plenty of both cool and warm colored CFL's.. and always try and aim the light downward.. (hang the CFL's vertical)

That being Said.. the LED's do something pretty much impossible to describe to the plants.. The Trich's become enormous.. and they make the plants bushy as hell..
Multiple Colas! The High and taste are even better! prob. Due to enhanced chlorophyll production.. Try to get a 300 Watt LED and use it as supplemental light..
Your tree's will be enormous.. It even can turn the plant an insane shade of purple.. I'm just in Love with them man..

Hey man, I read some of your Diesel Ryder posts. Awesome pics!!! You mentioned bofin or something like that had a good LED grow journal. Can you send me the thread to that or tell me how to find it? I looked all over for it. I am really anzious to see and hear about LED grows because I am about to do a stealth LED/CFL grow when my seeds come in (hopefully this week) One more question, did you do grows before your LED and if so whats your overall concious with stretching, yeild, vegging, and flowering on the LEDs? haha sorry about hounding you for answers, I would love to hear your opinion. thanks man
