the way I understand it set it at 400 for a 400 bulb and 600 for a 600 SL will burn your bulb faster for 60watts more light. I only use it on the last grow that bulb will see

You sure? I heard using say a 600w bulb at 400 watts will burn the bulb faster and won't put out nearly as much light as a 400w bulb at 400w

I don't think so. It does it right away from cold start.

600w HPS digital ballast. I hope it's not a ballast issue. looked it up online and the most popular answer was that it's a bulb issue. I've only used the bulb for 3 months. Bulb goes off. comes on again a minute later. Then after a minute or two instead of intensifying the light goes back out...

Bulb went retard last nigh switching off and on over and over. Can't get a new bulb till tomorrow. Will another dark light cycle be terrible for my plants? I could macgyver some cfls, but don't want to bother if plants don't mind the dark.

was about to bag my drying weed and noticed spider mites are all over them any ideas to get rid of them? I have bug b gone indoors, was thinking of soaking some cardboard with it and put it in the bags with the weed but meh... any thoughts?
