    Looking for light

315w LEC with a flower bulb. Make sure to get a fixture with a Phillips ballast and bulb. Sun Systems is a good product. Retail $ is high, but you should be able to get one for around $400. More than you want to spend, but I believe you would be very happy. Very good spectrum and low...

House Grow -- How big is TOO BIG!!!

With a dedicated veg room, you should easily get 5 cycles a year. Or as said above, stagger lights and do a harvest a month. Spreads the work (trimming) out.

House Grow -- How big is TOO BIG!!!

Most residential houses have a 200 amp service. That is enough for about 16 flower light room, 4 light veg room, 5 ton ac, dehuey, fans, etc. That is also without really living in the house and using most of the power, as I'm sure you have experienced. A bigger rental would work, I would just...

    Commercial growing

The quest dual dehumidifiers are great for larger grows. Very energy efficient for how much water they pull out.

    Oregon Law

It is the OLCC! What else would you expect? They still think alcohol prohibition just ended! I'm just glad they are nor doing it as strict as liquor, i.e. having to ship all product through their central warehouse and "lease" one of the OLCC retail stores and sell at fixed prices. Could be...

    Banking in Oregon

Does anyone know of banks that are willing to work with producers? So far I have only found one bank that is willing to work with dispensaries, but not producers. Thanks in advance!

Making a commercial grow operation indoor

You're missing at least one, if not two zeros in your initial investment. That is enough for a nice medical grow with 16 flower lights. The rec pond is much bigger than you obviously have any clue. Shit, hiring a consultant to get the applications for growing, extract, and edibles is north of...

Gavita 1000's with 8 foot ceilings...

My trays are on a wood cart with wheels, approx 6" off the ground. here is my math; 9' ceilings -2' for tray, cart, and pot (7gal.) -1.5' for fixture -3' canopy distance from light. leaves 2.5' for plant I went with the 750's because of the above math. I was told that 1000's need a foot or so...

Gavita 1000's with 8 foot ceilings...

hard to do with less than 10' unless you are able to run unlimited plant count and keep them super short. I run 16 750 gavitas with 9' ceilings and trays and it is tight.

    Selling legally

Unless you are a OMMP registered grower, you can't legally sell it right now to dispensaries. For recreational, the new rules go into effect January 1, 2016. They require an application for a rec license, either for growing, extracting, retail, or edibles.
