how's it going bro. hay smell is regular, that's just the smell chlorophyll drying, curing process will take that away. as for your temp issue, I have never grown outdoor so I wouldn't know how to advice you properly.

do you air out your tapwater for 24hours for the chlorine to evaporate before putting it in your reservoir? I'm just curious. thanks.
