Its been a while, but I think 500ppm is too high atm, no more than 300ppm? and it will need a week before it will start regrowing, soil to hydro and vice versa is a very large shock, the roots need to recover/grow before you will see any recovery. I have done this multiple times in the past.

Yes it will come back, it's in shock and will take time to recover before beginning to grow again, low nutes, stable ph.

mites can account for a lot of the damage, i agree, but i see burnt tips that are definite slight burn and of no cause from mites. mites are definitely something you should have included with your original post, as well :D

can appear in different ways depending on what nute/chem is burning it, the spray could have just barley overdone it, this happened after the spray right?

what nutrients are you using? since that is for your earlier stages, im sure you are using something different and that could be the problem. i have used things before that left "leftovers".
