In my opinion, topping a plant is good for CFLs because you can get light at more of the plant, since the canopy is more flat at the top. For CFLs, and generally any plant without a shitload of side-lighting, I'd recommend topping.
    Hey Roy,

    To answer some quesitons:

When growing my SLH, I topped it using uncle ben's technique, although I topped it after the 3rd node, which technically meant 6 tops, but really only 3 of the tops became pronounced (pretty weird, huh?). I meant to top after the 2nd node, but i screwed up ahaha.

I let this plant grow in the vegetative state for 50 days from the seed cracking, with 24 hours a day light.

The plant was around 22-24 inches tall when I flicked it into flowering, and after 3-4 weeks she settled at around 32 inches tall overall.

I would imagine that if you didn't top her or do any LST, she'd be another foot taller.

Yields? that depends on a lot. SLH is a sativa/indica blend, and sativas are known for a bit less yield than indicas. I'm hoping to get around 3-4oz off this plant, and that is with giving her plenty of light (11x42W CFLs).

Sorry for the late response! Let me know if that helps
