The biggest problem I have heard of with misting, though I have never had a problem with it, is that the water droplets amp the light and you get small burn spots. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I always use tubes on the little ones so I'm not totally sure. Hope it helps.

I understand that but from what I have found the prices are much cheaper on mh than they are on the switchable, and unfortunately I am on a tight budget right now.
