Once they have grown up and gotten used to the HID you can keep em 12-20 inches away. 20 inches is on the far side for a 400 watter. Keep em closer to 12 inches.

Hey JIG do you think that leaf curling due to plants getting hit underneath by light is a problem for plants? I have experienced alot of curling on my last grow and i want to know if my plants are being hurt by it.
