  • Need some advice, I have a week old Alcapulco Gold seed thats doing pretty well, but I think my soil is a little to dense, I’m using fans and heat pad to dry soil. Can I transplant it into a potting mix like ocean forest to get it into a lighter mix or would that be bad? Again it’s only a week old and just now developing little second leaves.

You can transplant it. Just be careful. Dig way under the actual plant to get the whole taproot. Dip the roots in ph 6 water to wash & place in a new pot. Sprinkle some great white or mykoz if you have some before setting it in the pot. (On roots & in the new hole)

transplanting a super young plant without developed roots can be done, but its a bit tricky, they are incredibly delicate. I personally would let it get another set of leaves and wait until the soil is on the dry side and then do it, youre almost there.
