The more layers the smell has to permeate through the better, the shorter the time they are in said containers the better. Make sure your checked luggage has a key lock on it, hide your shyt in a way that won't look odd on a quick xray view.. Most of all, be chill about it.. acting suspicious or anxious while they are xraying your bag is a big red flag.. chill, to be honest security isn't to find your little bag of weed.. lol, they are looking for weapons and larger trafficking . If at sometime you get a STRONG feeling not to do it, like gut wrenching.. don't..

It's been almost 2 years now since I've flown, but yeah, used to bring stuff all the time.. I NEVER had it on my persons or in my carryon.. ALWAYS in my checked luggage. God, my usual was hiding it in a vibrator (battery compartment) cmon who wants to check in that.. lol.. multi bag your stuff as close to the actual flight as securely possible. (ie, dont be dumb, keep shyt on the dl), dogs cant magically sniff through things, they can detect the smells that permeate through the microscopic pores of the objects, so the longer it is in said baggie or object the more of the smell that has permeated out.
