Even though I helped and agree with this I can't take it anymore. I do want to say something good on my way out. Hybrid I have mad respect for your growing ability and I think if I handed you some incandescents you would still out grow me.
Hey Cobby, I am going to change out my 6 2700k 1212 90cri with either 1818 gen6 3k 90cri or cxm22 3k 90cri, between those two which one would be the biggest step up, i know they are probably pretty close. im plan on running these one the same driver a hlg 185a....that will be fine right?
I am just going to give my 2 cents on this.... it seems to me some of these Amare guys are paid by the company to push Amare products so i would take some of what is said about Amare with a huge grain of salt. So with that out of the way, the reason so many people that dont use Timber recommend...
The vero's in the timber kit are of a higher quality than the cree's in the amare also....I say this even though I have cxb's in my diy light. For my money if I wasn't going to build it myself I would go timber. They are shelled products.
with my best blurble grow i got .61g/w my first grow with cobs was 1.13g/w enough said about g/w. the blurlbe bud did turn out well, but i do have to say the reaction to the white led was better. if you are looking to grow a little personal im sure its fine just be aware you could drop the watts...
I'm not a huge fan of the round table it seems like every 10 mins they stop to smoke and frankly if I stay up late to watch a grow channel I expect grow talk....maybe if I smoked I wouldn't mind but it drives me nuts do that on your own time or at least don't make a big 15min thing.
