  • Never any need to worry...nobody's gonna mess with a crusty old man like me...more trouble than it's worth...;)

Trying to quit smoking too...that's a bitch and a half...been 4 days and I've already lost my voice...and the crap I'm coughing up is truly scary...and this is the easy early part for things like that...
    Yeah...sorry...

Moved on the weekend...completed the last house closing yesterday...been back and forth every day for the last week or so...

Paperwork is pretty much done...I have my son, and my freedom...

Unfortunately I'm a very broke and in debt man now, and I'm currently staying at my parents place until I can get a few things straightened out...happy to have all that behind me now though...
OH god! I don't know if we can talk anymore...lol!:wall:

Thanks for the advice man. Yeah I try and keep an eye on ph but I need to be more diligent about it for sure. I found that ph meter on ebay for 70 bucks with shipping. I think I might have to pick one up.

I was asking the guy at my hydro shop about probe storage solution and he said as long as I'm using tap water not distilled water it would be fine. I think when I get my new meter I'm going to get the storage solution too. It just seems like the logical way to go. Not that I'm all that logical!:dunce::roll:
Cool man...I figured as much. Now I'm kinda wondering though if I really need to add calmag or if I'm dealing with a slight nute lockout due to low ph. I guess a new ph meter will be on my shopping list for this week.
Sounds like it would be a worthwhile investment. I'll have to hop on the interwebs and research some different models. I fucking hate my ph tester!!! It has caused me to get lazy about testing ph too many times. I dunno if it's just the nature of the beast of if I have a shitty one but for some reason it doesn't like to stay calibrated and even when I get it to say 7.0 in the calibration solution I still never really trust the reading it gives me. WTF!?!

Quick question, if I'm starting to notice some mag deficiencies would it be ok to add cal/mag to my watering schedule in between feedings? I fed full bloom nutes Sunday night and I'm transplanting today. When I water my transplants can I add cal/mag to the water?
nice man! good to know the young'ins got a clean bill of health. are you using a TDS/EC meter? i use the technaflora recipe for success and just go off the feeding chart they provide. seems to be doing good for now but i've been thinking about what I should do if I want to start dialing in my feedings a bit more.
For sure! I set this account up back in the day so I could check out pictures in threads around here. I was posting at GC so I guess I never felt it necessary to post here. Worked out quite well indeed!
