  • well i start with RO water and just dump the silica in and mix it around, then i drop the pH back down to 7. if you wanna see why i add the silica first and then drop the pH back down to 7.. try this: take a glass of RO water, add some calmag to it. then pour in some silica. watch the cloud form. that cloud is precipitated nuts. no longer usable to the plant
<Phxx>ideally you want to start with silica then ph down buffered water at the right pH (around 7) that leaves you with the pH you want AFTER mixing everything, the more you have to chase pH after mixing, the greater the risk of precipitated (canceling ouT) nutes
If you're not committed, I would say Lucas Formula + SoG. Simple, and if you lose a plant, you have a bunch more; plus, NO VEG! :D

If you are committed, there's Lucas with Fox Farm as well, use Google (site:rollitup.org fox farm) instead of the forum search, it sucks. LST/topping will better use your space without growing too tall.

Beneficials will do more than any bloom booster, while keeping the bad stuff at bay; check out MycoGrow Soluble. Beneficial Tea is best for microbials. Your environment matters more than anything, spend a sober hour in the garden every day; it's work, treat it as such. Drop your temps as low as you can in the last two weeks, NorCal loves purps, but they love it more when it's actually purple.

If R/O, Cal/Mag + Pro-TeKt will keep you going hard.
