I don't think it makes a huge difference which way you plant it but I found this when I was wondering myself.

Here's a couple shots of the SLH, she seems to be doing well so far, just starting her first set of 5 pointed leaves and I think the space between nodes is pretty good she is 8cm or about 3 inches tall.

I'm using 400w MH conversion bulb right now. Thanks for the info but I would prefer to avoid plants that are especially tall since that will only bring them closer to the heat source.

Does anybody know of any good strains that will tolerate high temperatures? I've heard the ideal temp is around 78 but it is difficult for me to maintain that especially in the summer. The area I am using heats up from 70-90 degrees right now while it is lit. On hot days though it gets to...
