Great posts guys, its been a lot of help. 60 plus days of flowering? that sounds pretty intense.. I cant use my kitchen cabinet because I have a roommate... can we consider this a secret grow? I have a small shelf that I started working on yesterday, Ill post pics when I finish it

Also, I specifically bought the 6500k light because of a recommendation on this post... so is this not the best choice? I have a 3000k one still up at the top, but do I need more of that spectrum for the flower cycle that I just started or will just one of the hps lights listed suffice?

alright thanks! I didnt realize that it needed to be pitch black for 12 hours! Ill start working on a cabinet... One of my main problems is space, so is there a compact way to do this? I dont mind buying equipment, but my whole objective is to eventually grow these to flower at less than 12...

thanks for the replies I have two more bulbs that I could add like the ones that I have in there... that would be 400w equiv... ? Plus the original grow light... Would this suffice? Should I move the plant to a box instead of the tent?

the avocado seed that had the worms has finally rooted.. one of my 5 plants also rooted but hasnt produced cotyledons. I have searched all over for the answer to these little worms but cant seem to find anything!

okay so start 12/12 today? I posted what the plant looks like.. not sure if ya'll can see Is it okay if I put it on 12/12 with the rest of my plants or do those lights need to be designated to the plant?

Also, they are the "daylight" or 6500k

I have a cardboard box lined with aluminum... if I put one of those lights in it and run it 12/12 will my seedling start to flower?

Will this not cook the plant?

if I were to mount the bulbs you mentioned up with the other one at the top, would that be sufficient enough light to keep it small?

Please dont laugh, Im just getting started with all this! Any ideas on how to improve upon this set-up for a cheap price please let me know! Also, how do I keep my plant small using this? I have a small cardboard box that I keep it in overnight so it can veg a bit... any suggestions?
