Rock wool plays havoc with ph. Have you checked that lately? Quit using that crap and you may have better luck with clones. Oasis Horticubes are much, much better and easier to use than rock wool and no ph issues! And I am not sure where people learned to use a rock wool cube with a rubber band...

Frankly I mostly use clones but I thought it would be a fun experiment with some seeds just to see. I seriously doubt it works, though. I have a bunch of top-drawer seeds and they all look the same to me except the little un-ripe ones!

G-gro, you do have to watch that heat as it is easy to scald the plants. A cheap fan blowing across them all the while the lights are on will help. I have read all kinds of temps but 70's are something to shoot for but 80's aren't bad as long as the tops of the plants are not getting burned...

I couldn't have said it better. There are too many variables with a grow, just like anything else. If you know what you are doing, you are almost guaranteed to have a better yield than someone still behind the learning curve. A lot depends on how much light and type of soil/hydro system you are...

Did you spray them with anything like mite killer or some such stuff? Stuff like SAFERS Soap will kill the pistils if the plant is in bud.

Sorry folks, but there is no such thing as "average yield" of anything off of a marijuana plant. There are dozens of variables and who's to say what's the average grow or set-up or plant size or strain, get my drift???? I see people watering with an eye dropper and others with flood systems...
