Thanks there looking great now to be honest I think I just panicked and assumed the worst (PM). Started to feed them powder Veg+Bloom and they're exploding!
Most quantum boards are DIY so depending on what spectrum of lighting you put in it can be great for both. I'm the same way if something works no need to change the way your doing things. This will be my first grow though so i've never had experience with any lighting. I'll be going with LED's...
I'm going for a stealth grow and the carbon filter is already making a little too much noise for my liking. So I'm not sure if id want to add a intake fan adding to the noise. So many different lights and technologies these days. Never knew it would be so difficult just to choose a light!
Ya same temps are a problem for me as well. I hear these run a little cooler to but I might even try to switch of to mars panels to try flowering with. Definitely nervous to try that though.
I would love to try CMH bulbs but find every 315w set up cost's around $500 to run. Searching around I found this 400w CMH complete kit on HTG for $170. I know there a very well known and trusted company but is this to good to be true or is there just a big difference between HTG's CMH set up...
After reading a post about hybrid lighting and great results from creating a mixed spectrum of lighting I am going to to be using 2 300w leds for the most of veg and then the 2 leds and 2 150 watt hps for late veg and flowering. I will update and post pics once its all set up but curious on...
Damn saying I don't have a AC either I cant risk that. Might go for 2 300w mars hydros then for now. Just not sure if 1200w of led will be enough to pull of the yield I'm hoping for.
I'm running 2 300w viparspectra's and gotta say for $90 each I love them. Having no issues with heat so far and there pretty quiet for the price. I am a little worried to see how they do in the long run but for now it was just a start up investment. I was looking into getting a 1200w king plus...
