Drastic times call for drastic measures lol

Hey there, new to live soil. Had a good start after 10 yr hydro. Had 2 snafu's maybe I could get some experienced info: had fungus gnats in veg once, flower 2 times. Used DE powder around the mulch layer, ,stalk and around plants base. Did ok any better suggestion? I'm 2 or 3 days from harvest...
