  • hey, I'm taking off for today, but I'm on the thread you created... just haven't said anything yet. I'll respond to you soon.
No... I'm sure you can't use a horizontal light mover turned on it's side. Those are low pull motors, not powerful enough to lift a light enclosure. I've never even heard of a vertical light mover. You could make something, but it would have to be pretty involved. Not the easiest diy at all. Are you talking about a yoyo that lifts and drops it, or so it circles?
No worries bro. Bush master rocks. I use it for 24 hours only before the switch to 12/12. I use BM and RO water only for that 24 hours. You plans sound good. Just let me know when you have questions... i'll try to answer or steer you in the right direction.
By BM do you mean bushmaster? The question is that enough light is relative. I got 14 oz off two plants using a 400w and a 250w. So What you have should be enough to grow a lot of pot. But if you are looking for pounds... then not enough light. I just got a 1000w ballast. This grow I'm flowering under 1k HPS. I got the Hindu Kush x Skunk as a clone from a local dispensary. You can buy Master Kush seeds all over.... Master Kush is pretty much the same as my Hindu Skunk. peace - jig
For some reason they only let you PM people after you have posted so many times. Keep posting and you'll get the priviledge. The benefit of growing on the inside was that I could reach it. That simple. My closet is too small for me to reach behind each screen to tie the plants down or train them. No other advantage really.... a screen is a screen. Regarding hydro... which ever setup seems easier to use is what I would do. It's not like one is going to give you a lot more bud than the other. About the light. In my grow I did a 400w and a 250w. I felt the 250w was a bit of a waste. Becuase the bottom half of the plants got basically only the 250w light, the bottoms were kinda weak. I kinda wish I grew shorter plants around only the 400w. Would have been more worth the time and electricity.
