How did you decide when they are finished without the use of trichs? For mine I have kept an eye on both trichs, colours of pistills (though new white ones had reappeared which are now slowly turning amber) and colour of bud itself. There's no pungent smell and the stickyness comes and goes.

That's a good possibility as I stopped feeding it about 3 weeks ago to rid of all chemicals prior to harvest. Is it an issue?
