if i get a digi bulb will i still put out the same amount of lumenz as a full powered 400watt system (digital balast) i think its around 50k-55k lumenz for a 400watt system.. i wasn't 100% clear on my first post so i understand, plus i know some people are a few joints deep :bigjoint: but...

never said i was putting on a dimmer.. im getting a digital ballast no matter what.. but its either going to be a FREE 1,000 watt or $300 for the 400watt set up.. im simply trying to find out if i can use the 1,000 watt for a max output of 400 watts will i put out the same lumans as an acutal...

I really would just like to buy the lumitek digital 400w ballast but my friend has a full 1,000 digital light that he wants to hand down to me. if i put the dimmer half way on the 1,000 watt will that be almost the same as having 400 watts? ish.. i would like to save the $300 and use this 1,000...

great info i will get those tools asap. as for ph i have this white tablet that you drop in the water and it brings the ph to just under 7 and treats up to 50 gal. but i am still going to get those tools

well what kind do you use? and what is your mix per gal?

what kind of nutrients do you use? and what is the mix per gal? im having a hard time coming up with a good level mix

i still dont understand how i will know what amount per gal for nutrients. can some one show me a very easy nuit formula i have a whole list of diff kind but i dont know which one to use there are so many.. :peace:
