I would use the soaker line versus a DIY ring. DIY rings tend to not deliver equal flow ring to ring and tend to clog really quickly. You could always just put small adjustable sprinkler heads on the ends as well...

Looks great! And I wouldn't worry too much about about the light in your room. Strong light might degrade THC very slightly but there's no way your room lighting is going to have much of an impact.

Looks great! I admittedly have no experience with hydro but your air pump on top of your hood kind of scares me. Cooler water holds significantly more gasses and promotes much healthier roots. I'm slightly worried your hood will heat your air pump (which already produces a bit of heat itself)...
