could i get away with less CFM? I could get 2 800 CFM fans and use 1 for each side. any suggestions on which would be enough?
Also, is this over kill? I mean, could i get the same results by daisy chaining 3 together or would it be more beneficial for them each to get their own air supply?
So i have my medical room setup and its been running fine but i am looking to tweak things and hopefully save some money on power as well.
I have air cooled hoods, but have been running them with the glass out and just using the AC to cool everything. This works pretty good (temp at canopy is...
kind of an old thread but i was JUST going to post something like this. I cant believe all the people around the boards are telling everyone the powder is more cost effective!! Its not even close.
I have seen better rooms for sure, but i like what i got. I will post some up when the lights come on tonight. Its a work in progress though. I am always trying to make stuff better out there. its a great hobby!
Yeah, thats hat i was thinking... keep in mind though... the CCH4 usues fuzzy logic (i think) for the CO2 stuff so if you were needing that, this unit is just analog Co2... however, they DO make a comparable unit to the CCH4. Check them out here...
was looking to get a decent Temp/humid controller for my veg room. Have a Sentinel EVC-2 in flower and its pretty good but found an AutoPilot Digital Environmental Controller at the local shop that i can pick up pretty cheap.
Here is a link...
Got a couple questions. First off here is my setup:
Growing in Coco (60/40 perlite), 5 gal buckets, watering every day 1 gal. drain to waste. They are under 1000w HPS and are currently day 15 in flower, temp AT the canopy stays around 80, humidity at 50, and i supplement with 1100 PPM CO2.
I...
I am a hydro guy but ffof has notes in it already. If you start with nutes you may have all kinds of problem with nute burn or lockout. Especially at this stage. Your plants just don't need that much to live right now.
Also, I would start in much smaller containers. That way the medium...
I did 4 days in a row but no change. However, i flipped them last night to 12/12 and they look SO much better!! I saw 2 more days and they will be back to 100% maybe even tomorrow.
Still havent figured out the issue though. I will have to wait til next time i suppose! Will post up some pics...
Interesting sice the strain that is doing it most is a valley kush and Tahoe kush (my pre-91 chem). Do you happen to know your ratios that DONT make this happen for veg and flower?? Also, once i am actually in flower (not just the room that i flower in) they seem to pop right out and get back...
I agree with you, and i will certainly give it a shot (its pretty hard to over water coco), but they have not been flipped to 12/12 as i break in the plants to the environment before flipping. You think the extra light would do that without actually going into flower mode?
hmm.. this is an interesting one. definitely something i have not thought of or even researched. I may have to look into this. What do you know about it? My rooms were built in my garage in a relatively new home though... you think that could be an issue?
Friendlyperson, so the issue i have...
Took a look at this as well, but they are in 1 gal pots, and i water them every other day and get about 5-10% run off every time i water. If i let them go to 3 days they are SUPER light and you can just see that they didnt like that, 1 day they are still pretty heavy. HOWEVER, i watered them...
Superstoner, i REALLY appreciate the fast response and your efforts!! However, i HIGHLY doubt that this the brand of bulb is t blame for a multitude of reasons. First and foremost being that i got the same issues with digilux (which is a bulb designed for use in digital ballasts). Next, there...
