    What I've Learned

VII. Useful Diagrams, Pictures, etc G.E. CFL data. Shows lumens and color temp for their bulbs. Check against the part number on your box: genet.gelighting.com/LightProducts/images/t04/0000000/r00016v-1.pdf

    What I've Learned

VI. Common Problems & Solutions - Low PH = Add lime - Droopy leaves = Check watering - Brown leaves = Check nutrients, bugs, heat - Unexpected Funny little dots = Check mold or bugs - Hot area = Bring in cool air from outside grow area, do not just circulate hot air - Slow growth = Check...

    What I've Learned

III. Lighting, Ventilation, Grow Area - I've seen 3000 lumens per plant mentioned as a minimum. - G.E's 26w CFLs are 1600(cool white)-1750(warm white)lumens each. - I have come to the conclusion that the lighting debate comes down to three things: Lumens, and Color Temperature, Wattage. All...

    First Grow, Feel the love

One of my favorite threads here, I am following along, b/c you're someone who seems to have researched everything quite a bit, but it's still your first time. I would like to think I am the same way, but only a few days in.

    OK Here We Go

ya there is definiately a problem there. I hear overwatering causes droopy leaves. Could be that . Also could be poorly aerated soil (see perlite comment). The only way for us to tell if it's too hot, would be for you to get a thermometer

    under cfl's

How do you tell when over-watering is going on? Also, nice looking plant there. I hope the LST works out great for ya =) I am vegging 4 plants under 12 mixed blue/red cfls myself, aiming for great results.

    OK Here We Go

    1) What kind of soil is that? I do not see much perlite in there. 2) I think you might need more lighting. 2 26w CFLs per plant would be ideal, that would give them each 3000+ lumens. Also, look for the "cool white" GE CFLs in the blue packaging. These are better for this stage of growth
