Hi everyone!
I'm on my second run! First harvest was almost 14 ounces under a 600w CMH/HPS set up.
Background:
I am using the above lighting with a cooled hood. I am growing in Coco/perlite mixed at 60/40. I am using Canna Coco A+B nutes with CaliMagic.
I put my seeds directly into the...
That makes me feel a lot better but from what I read, it said that the fan leaves are what work as "factories" in photosynthesizing the light into sugar for the plant to grow. I didn't see much difference but next time I'd just leave them unless I really NEEDED to remove them.
Now that I am reading all of your advice. I know I did a few things wrong.
1) over loved them. I kept worrying about burning them so I under fertilized. In Coco this cause a lot of stunted growth.
2) I picked off some of the larger fan leaves. I did this with the idea that more light and...
Those look gorgeous. I'm thinking of
Setting up a SCROG netting for once my babies start blooming. I also topped my girls. This is my first grow and I am completely addicted. I'm getting new babies going under some T5 lights next week so I don't have any downtown once I harvest in 2 months.
This has been the best and most informative post/advice I have been given. I seriously appreciate it. I bought an EC/TDS meter and I'm having difficulty using it. It changes even though I'm putting it into the same testing solution. So I stopped using PPM. I just do the Canna Coco A+B once every...
Yup it's my first indoor grow. My biggest plant is 22 inches from the coco. I have a 7.5 foot tent. With 14 inches for my light I have 6.1 feet from the ground to the bottom of my cooled hood. Take away at least 12 inches for the medium and another 12 inches from the light to the top of the...
Yes exactly what I thought. I have not done the flip. They are still vegging on a 18/6 cycle. I germinated from seed. They are two months from the day they sprouted out of the medium, not from when they grew their first set of true leaves. I think that's why I'm saying 2 months. I was going to...
Really eh? I was always taught the "wait till the bag is light method" and only feed once every 3 waterings. Maybe that's why my plants are still so small. They've been vegging for just under 60 days and they're only about 18-22 inches from the top of the coco. See pictures below
I'm having some yellowing recently as well. My whole plant is turning a yellowish gold colour. See pictures attached. Just gave my girls a full Cal Mag feed tonight. Let's see how that works. I hear so many different things about letting pot lighten before watering again. I am doing Canna coco...
