Same here, the solution drops the PH ever so slightly from phosphorus content really. Not had issues up until late, the plant is either root bound or like you say it could be a lockout. Perhaps from salt. Doing a good flush and mixing fresh nutrients to be within the 6.5-7.0 range.
My solution is at PH 6.8 when I water the plants with it, I guess maybe my soil PH is low, it's mixed information on google regarding what PH magnesium and potassium can be absorbed at but generally it looks like anywhere from 6.0-7.0. Found this, there's a few of these about.
Can't remember the brand but it was PH 6 and had added John Innes. Had a successful grow using this soil prior using the same stuff. Okay so just ran some tap water through the soil and the run off is at PH 6.0, I could try flushing the soil again but I don't know if there's even any salt build...
Hi guys, I've been having some issues with this plant in particular, the strain is jungle wreck.
Is this nutrient burn or just a sulfur/potassium issue? I first flushed the soil when I saw signs of this problem arising, just to see if it was nutrient burn but this problem is pretty much all over...
Hey there, I had this SAME problem in hydro. Ideally you need to chill your resevoir. Make sure not to add too much phosphorus & potassium into your feed. (It's high in bloom feeds). Also feed gently and wait for signs of deficiency then work your way up. Add some hydrogen peroxide into your...
Okay thankyou, I'll remember that in future. Didn't know that happened, although I've grown a few through vegetative stage in PH 7 soil. Thought perhaps it was too alkaline but now I know the plant adjusts the soil it's not too bad. I'll make sure to PH my feed before feeding them then in future.
If your roots are looking healthy and everything is as it was before it's definitely shock. Or it could be deficiency & shock.
Also I'd probably raise your water level to a few inches below the net pot.
Perhaps raise your water level? Also they don't look burnt but do look a little hungry. it looks like magnesium deficiency a little. It should be in your micro nutrientsCheck your water PPM's (or EC as the American measurement).
Sorry was pretty late so fell asleep. It looks to me actually...
Okay cool :) sorry i'd read elsewhere that cannabis liked some acidity to the rootzone, noticed too it won't absorb certain nutrients at pH 7 or the absorbtion will be poor. Phosphorus is meant to be absorbed at 5.0-6.0 right? Looked back on my grow log and noticed that it was just after the...
They look healthy. It could just be shocked. If you've mixed your nutrients right and ph'd them like usual that's probably all it is. Mine did this when I ran dwc on occasion. Is the discolouration a new thing since the rez change? (It took 3 days for mine to settle once)
