I Have toped and fimed same strain same set, and the results where 100% fim. I like to see a huge cola, but the light needs to be up from it so the lower buds get so much less light. That's why I have been fiming for so long. Hmmm what to do? The top cola will mature before bottoms,I would think. Is that about right? If so I can alway cut the main cola and let lowers go another week or so with the lights lower.

Thats some great yields. If its working for you, then dont change it. You can only hope for the same results. Maybe top, fim and natural and compare?

Well your pics have inspired me to go natural. That and it will be a first for me. I always have fimed in the past and once I learned to grow (made many mistakes) I never came under 4oz per plant and 7.5 is my record. Do you think these same results can happen, say I was running the same strain, what do you think?

Hey GG13....I normally let them go natural. I like big main colas. I've topped and fim'd even on my last grow but like to just let them go. I'm only doing it for myself and I dont need to try and increase yields.

Hey Boneman your Garden looks great. You don't practice any fim, just natural growth? Do you harvest more that way? I have always fimed, and I am thinking about just letting them grow natural and see what happens.

Hey Boneman, Hows life? Myself I am waiting for my yearly walkthrough at my house from the Reality agency then I can start my Garden. I set everything up for a week dialed in then took it all down and now I wait. Soon like any day now they will cruise through then I can start up worry free. Violater Kush/ NY Special. My patience is good.
So I see you saw Mose the noob grow. Mose is on time. I really dig his plant, it's a relieve to see a first timer grow it out before 12/12.

hey dude i lost those other plants but germinated and planted two more, they are mid grades, so do i leave the light on all the time while they are small, because i was reading an article about turn out the light for twelve hours to induce budding, but i just need them to grow, light on or off? and for how long before i start some kind of cycle?

Depends on what kind of light you are using....MH for veg and HPS for flower is the best or you can use CFL's 6500w for veg and 2700w for flower.

ohhh ok now i get you.......so i do that until they are ready to flower. and then add the nutes, ok got it...... now i heard something about using 2 diffrent bulbs, one for the VEG and the other for FLOWERING. which ones do i need?

The little plastic things that you put the pot into.
Water the plant until you have water running out of the bottom of the pot. Then dont water again for another 4-5 days.

where can i get a water catcher basins? and what do you mean by " Water them until you have slight runoff and then not again until the pot is light...4-5 days later "

right on i appreciate it, what about the problem i posted earlier,
limp leafs, good stem, wet soil

Maybe add it to a compost pile and once its finished rotting and done being nasty, then you can mix it in.

hey mybe you can help me i have a old friut tree and under it is a bunch of foliage is it good to add that to my soil? and if yes how? mix it in? or on top?

but they havent really branched out yet eather so really its hard to tell

alright cause right now i have three under one and im not using the other and there doin pretty good in my opinon
